The Media Manager is a tool that allows you to preview, and copy, media files.

These files include Bmp files, Wav files, and Mid files.

As with all Kristina Edit's tools, you can keep the window opened until you are finished with the tool.

Folders in the list are noted by brackets [folder name].

Selecting, double clicking, a Bmp from the the list automatically loads the file into the graphicbox.

If the image is larger than the graphicbox the scrollbars will be turned on.

Loading images smaller than the graphicbox turns off the scrollbars.

Selecting a Wav or Mid file turns the Play button on.

When you close the Media Manager the last path accessed will be remembered in the current editing session.

Closing Kristina Edit results in the path being released. 

Play

If the selected file is a Wav or Mid file you may preview the file by pressing the Play button.

While playing the button label will change to Stop.

Pressing the Stop button will end the preview.

Copy File

This feature allows you to copy the selected file to a folder of your choice.

It is always best to have support files in your application's folder. or a sub-folder of your application's main folder.

 

Copy Path

Selecting Copy Path prints the complete path, quoted, to the selected file in the editor.

If the file is not in your application's main folder, or a sub-folder of your application's main folder, it is recommended that you copy the file before copying the path.
