Mouse-X and Mouse-Y
This is the current position of the mouse cursor on your desktop.

X-Offset and Y-Offset
This displays the the offset in pixels.
When offsets are zero the mouse cursor is measured from the upper left hand corner of the screen.
When the offsets are other than zero the mouse cursor is measured from the point(s) displayed in offsets

Set X and Set Y
Clicking on either of these buttons puts the mouse ruler in the set mode.
In the set mode you right-click an object on your desktop to set the left side, or top, of the object as zero.

With offsets, moving the mouse cursor to the top left hand corner of the object results in Mouse-X and Mouse-Y being zero.
If you then move the mouse cursor to the lower right hand corner of the object the object width and height will be displayed in Mouse-X and Mouse-Y.

Clear
This button returns all offsets to zero.
