Tab 1 - Preferences
Sounds -
Sounds are disabled at the moment.
They will be enabled when the custom messaging system is completed.

Error
The wav to play for error messages.
Warning
The wav to play for notifications.
No sound
Turns off all message wav files.

No sound- Turns off all message wav files.

Select
Opens a filedialog to search for, and select, wav files used by the messaging system.
Default
Reloads the default sounds.
Preview
Will play the wav file in the textbox that has focus.
You can change focus by clicking your left mouse button on the file you want to play.

Confirm file overwrites
Check this option if you want to be prompted before overwriting a file.

Confirm when exiting (Kristina Edit)
Check this option if you want to be prompted when exiting Kristina Edit.
Changes in code that is in the editor will cause a prompt to save whether this option is checked or not.

Toolbar
Allows you to select the toolbar that you want to use.
Changing toolbar requires that you restart Kristina Edit before the change shows.

Startup
Startup options define how Kristina Edit looks and the status of the following features:


Syntax Color
Keyword Caps
Line Numbers
These features may be Always on, Always off, and Last used (default).

Editor Font
The default font face and size for the editor.
Zooming will temporarily change the font size but not the font face.
Printer Font
The font used for quick printing.
Other print modes use the editor font and zoom size.

User (name)
Your name.
This will also be used by the custom messaging system.

Tab 2 - Syntax Colors
Syntax Colors
Selecting colors:
Left-Clicking in a color field activates that field for color selection.
Right-Clicking the active color field opens a colordialog for color selection.
You can reset the colors to default colors by clicking the Default Colors button.

Tab 3 - Applications Paths
Application Paths
Full path and application name to the files required by Kristina Edit.
It is very important to select your applications paths carefully as selecting the wrong program will cause Kristina Edit to crash when the program is called.

Application paths may be changed at any time allowing updates of Just BASIC and Freeform-J to replace old versions.

By default, Kristina Edit uses Notepad and MSPaint, or PBrush for Win 98 users.
These may be replaced by other applications if you prefer.

JB Home Folder:
The full path to Just BASIC.

Run Engine:
The full path to JB's current run.exe

JB Ini File:
The current Ini file. This will be in your JB Home Folder and will usually be named justbasicX.ini. Where X is the current version number.

Bak Folder:
The backup folder specified in you Just BASIC preferences.
Kristina Edit will recognize the BAK extension when loading files from this folder. 
Freeform-J:
The full path to the version of Freeform-J that you are using.
Note: This must point to the Tkn not the bas.

Notepad:
Full path to MS Notepad or the text editor of your choice.
Paint:
Full path to MS Paint or the graphics editor of your choice.

Note:
When you update Just BASIC you will also need to update:
1. JB Home Folder
2. Run Engine
3. JB Ini File
4. Bak Folder
5. Freeform-J
