The View menu allows you to customize how Kristina Edit looks and operates.

Line Numbers (on/off)
graphic

Line numbers are outside of the editor and used as a reference to help you keep track of where you are in your code.
This is most useful for larger programs.

Capitalize Keywords (on/off)
When turned on, this feature capitalizes keywords.
Keywords entered in lower case show as upper case until this feature is turned off.
Keywords entered in upper case stay in upper case even when this feature is turned off.

Syntax Coloring (on/off)
Toggles the syntax coloring to on or off.
If syntax coloring is turned off it will be turned on.
The colors used for syntax coloring may be changed in the Options window, Syntax Colors Tab.

Mark/Unmark Line

Marking lines is a quick way to navigate between sections of code.

Wrap Code (on/off)
This acts the same as word wrap in a text editor.
When this option is turned on, lines are that too long to be displayed will wrap to the next line.

Line wrap has no effect on saving your Bas file and wrapped code runs the same as unwrapped code.

Set Margin

This feature allow you to set the margin used in the editor.
Margins are ignored by all printer modes.

Toolbar (Hide/Show)

graphic

You may turn Kristina Edit's toolbar off anytime you want.
This will allow more lines of code to be viewed and, if you are ham fisted like me, will prevent you from pressing toolbar buttons when you are trying to press a menu item.

The toolbar will always be displayed when Kristina Edit is first loaded.

Note:
Line Numbers, Capitalize Keywords,Syntax Coloring, and  Wrap Code are  remembered features.
If you have opted to Last Used, in the Options window, the next time you load Kristina Edit these features will be as you left them.
ie:
If you turned Syntax Coloring off before exiting Kristina Edit, Syntax Coloring will be off when you run Kristina Edit again.
